The BA Fine Arts Showcase Catalog is a culmination of the works from graduating fine arts students at Columbia College Chicago. This publication is developed in relation to the end of year showcase and gallery: "Manifest". "Pieces", this publication, is a brochure available during the college’s 2024 graduation Manifest celebration. This catalogs is also to be mailed to prospective students and high schools across the nation to showcase the creativity and talent that Columbia has fostered and produced.
Thinking about the collection title: Pieces, the visual concept of a triangular grid with pieces knocked-out was developed. These pieces of the original grid will appear when appropriate in the publication itself–such as around the table of contents and negative space.
