Kate Tierney is a Chicago graphic designer and artist specializing in branding work, identity creation, & publication design.
Kate has been actively engaging herself in the graphic design world. She a recent graduate, earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, and minor in Fashion Studies at Columbia College of Design in Chicago.
Kate pushes her love for identity and branding design to creating visually appealing concepts–with a heavy emphasis on photograph integration including type and experimental and contemporary styles. She works to contribute her own skills to the conversation and current movements seen in these design fields.
When she's not designing, she's competing in national taekwondo, and teaching self defense classes. She can be found in the gym, thrift stores, art museums, and all the local coffee & boba shops. She has an unhealthy obsession with matcha, the color red, studio ghibli, and she is always open to a round of espresso martinis.
